Paving

Our paving scope of work includes stone base, curbs and bituminous paving. We also can install minor concrete work such as dumpster pads, aprons and sidewalks which are associated with the roadwork.

Hamilton Symington
We began this job in May of 2000 and finished in April of 2004. The project consisted of grading, sediment control, storm water management, 5200 feet of water main, 8800 feet of sewer pipe, 5,218 linear feet of storm drain, 11,000 linier feet of curb and gutter, and 16,500 square yards of stone base, and the paving was all completed by Gray & Son, Inc.

I-95 North Bound
We began working here in February of 2004 and finished by October of 2004. This is a public milling and resurfacing project for the Maryland Toll Administration. This was a 540 day contract which was completed in 250 days, with 48,000 thousand tons of blacktop laid, and 200,000 square yards of grinding.

York Road
This is a streetscape project in which Gray & Son is a subcontract providing the paving for the general contractor Machado.

Michigan Avenue
This job began in April of 2002 and was complete in September of 2003 for Baltimore County Public Works. Gray & Son crews completed a variety of work on this project. The water line was replaced, and new water connections were serviced to at least 67 homes. Also we installed concrete storm drain pipe, curb and gutter, and then the road was resurfaced and paved.

Village of Woodholme
This residential adult community is located in Baltimore County, and Gray and Son is providing all of the site work, grading, paving, and utilities for Koren Development.
